I am about to head off for a trip to WA involving two crossings of the
Nullarbor (well that small part that meets the highway). Does anyone have
any convenient birding spots on the route? I am constrained by being the
luggage carrier, cook, bottle-washer and general backup vehicle to two old
buggers on over powered motorcycles (Grrr..). This means punting a caravan
so off-road or significant distances from the highway are not likely. What I
am after is one spot, preferably with outdoor tables and latte service where
I can see various wrens, quail-thrush and other sundries. Near the cliffs at
Eucla would be ideal so I can pick off the odd pelagic as well.

All suggestions greatly appreciated to
<> .

Chris Lloyd.
