The absurdities continue.....$353,000 fine here, $37,000 fine for taking a
can of beer into certain areas in Cape York, $8,000 fine for causing a
fatal accident whilst DUI.
I am not suggesting that the legislation is wrong but the fines are out of
all proportion and in my opinion lack common sense.. I do not agree with
"selling" trips to birders either. I understand that Bush Heritage need to
raise funds - what about an ongoing lottery with the prizes being the trip
to the Night Parrot area. Just a thought.
