Hello all,            I've recently finished two trip reports for reading and 
downloading. The first from our March 2016 Boigu and Saibai trip and a combined 
report from my Nov/Dec/Feb trips to both Christmas Island and Cocos.

The top dozen birds from the Torres Strait were:
1.       Orange-fronted Fruit Dove

2.       Zoe’s Imperial Pigeon

3.       Coroneted Fruit Dove

4.       Garganey

5.       Gurney’s Eagle

6.       Uniform Swiftlet

7.       Collared Imperial Pigeon

8.       House Swift

9.       Red-capped (Papuan) Flowerpecker

10.     Singing Starling

11.     Pacific Swallow

12.    Coconut Lorikeet


The top birds from Christmas and Cocos this summer were:
1. Narcissus Flycatcher2. Crow-billed Drongo3. Common Kingfisher4. Common 
Moorhen5. Von Schrenck's Bittern6. Mugimaki Flycatcher7. Watercock8. Red-legged 
Crake9. Cinnamon Bittern10. Arctic Warbler11. Common Teal12. Hodgson's Hawk 
Cuckoo13. Japanese Sparrowhawk14. Common Redshank15. Pin-tailed Snipe16. 
Saunders's tern17. Grey Wagtail18. Western Reef Egret19. White-breasted 
Waterhen20. Yellow Wagtail
