Location: Flagstaff Hill Golf Club Adelaide S.A. 11Th tee area
Superb Parrot (Polytelis swainsonii) (1) Seen/reported previously at this site.
This occasion, seen twice but only briefly on the wing. Distinct call, size and
noticeably long tail clear. Male breast colour not seen but viewing angle and
flight speed didn't help. Probably a female but there is a degree of
uncertainty. Again at the same spot in heavily flowering Eucalypts in company
of Rosellas and Lorikeets.
