Last year around the 6th of February, I posted seeing Brolgas along the
Clarence River near Lawrence, nth NSW. We had returned to the Clarence a month
ago and have cruised past the same area 4-5 times. No Brolgas. We passed the
exact spot on Feb 1st, No Brolgas.
Today on our return run to Grafton, there were (only) 12 grazing the grassy
field on the riverbank near the silos. Peter Morgan responded last year, does
anyone know if this is a regular migratory pattern. February being the arrival
time?

Birding Burney,
When she's not sailing!
