Ibis habitat destroyed

I’ve just received this email. Does anyone out there have any information, an 
opinion?

Dear Denise, I wanted to ask your advice: here in Sydney they are carving up 
the side of the road to create the biggest infrastructure in the country The 
West Connex. It breaks my heart every time I see it because the beautiful Ibis 
that used to nest in big gatherings have had their habitat entirely destroyed 
not to mention now Ibis sitting on tree stumps where everything has been 
chopped down in preparation for the next stage of development. Dead Ibis 
scatter the freeway- it is appalling - do you know what I can do to raise this 
issue?
