The following is a digest of Sightings Reported on Birdpedia for the period
Monday, April 20, 2015 to Sunday, April 26, 2015:

Area: SA

Date: Saturday, April 18, 2015

Location: Magazine Rd Wetlands

Pink-eared Duck (Malacorhynchus membranaceus) (1) 1 only seen swimming with
other ducks. Photo attached

Date: Monday, April 20, 2015

Location: On our Rockleigh property

Diamond Firetail (Stagonopleura guttata) (1) We have not seen a diamond
firetail at our place since February last year. In much the same place we
spotted a pair of Australian ringnecks (not common) and a grey fantail (even
less common), plus the usual groups of weebills, rosellas etc. Half a dozen New
Holland honeyeaters seem to have decided that our creek bed makes a good home,
a favourite haunt being a large dead shrub, where they have noisy conferences
with brown-headed and singing honeyeaters.

Reported by: Barbara and Peter Bansemer on Tuesday, April 21, 2015

---------------------------------------------

Date: Friday, April 24, 2015

Location: Toronto St Ovingham

Eastern Spinebill (Acanthorhynchus tenuirostris) (1) Has been visiting our
front garden for several days, feeding from Wee Jasper Grevilleas. Have only
had very occasional sightings previously (may be partially an observer effect,
as we've both just retired and are home more often than in the past, but the
plantings are also recent).
