Location: Mac's Beach Yorke Peninsula

Red Knot (Calidris canutus) (220) Birds were feeding on falling tide.

Bar-tailed Godwit (Limosa lapponica) (94) Feeding on falling tide.

Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres) (62) feeding on top of beached washed 
seaweed along with Sharp-tailed S/P and red-necked stint

Location: Port Wakeifeld Caravan Park

Nankeen Night Heron (Nycticorax caledonicus) (34) Birds flew out of Mangroves 
behind Caravan Park.

Common Sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos) (1) Single bird on rocks in the channel 
behind Caravan Park.

Lesser Sand Plover (Charadrius mongolus) (8) Birds were roosting in Samphire 
waiting for tide to recede, along with Red-necked Stint and recapped Plover

Location: Willaston

Black-chinned Honeyeater (Melithreptus gularis) (1) Periodic sightings (and 
more often heard calling) of one or two of this species in urban garden 
settings at the end of Robinson Road in the Willaston area, ~750m NW of the 
redgum lined North Para River channel. Interested to learn of other sightings 
from this area . . .
