   Published sightings for the week ending 18 Jan 2015.

   Tue 13 Jan Western Osprey Cocos Keeling Island West Island
   First spotted during cyclone Kate on christmas day and finally located
   in the far corner of the inner lagoon. Cyclone Kate came down from Java
   and passed christmas island then onwards towards Cocos Island .

   Mon 12 Jan Painted Snipe Barkley Homestead
   2 Painted Snipe (now believed adult male and Female) in a puddle at the
   back of the Barkley Homestead Campground. Seen at 6PM, both birds very
   happy to stay wading despite approaches
