Hi All,
Yesterday the Monash University survey team at Ashmore Reef had a Red-billed Tropicbird over West Island. This is the second record for Australia following on from the well documented Lord Howe Island bird in 2010.

Amongst other things they have also had a Japanese Sparrowhawk (second record for Ashmore) and a White-breasted Waterhen (third record for Ashmore) over the last week or so.

Cheers,
Rohan
