   Published sightings for the week ending 21 Sep 2014.

   Mon 15 Sep Wood Sandpiper Greenfields Wetlands, Dry Creek
   2 birds
   Greg Roberts
   Sun 14 Sep Latham's Snipe Fox Lake, Robe
   At least 43 snipe in samphire immediately in front of bird hide.
   Richard and Marg Alcorn
   Sat 13 Sep Freckled Duck Lake Fellmongery, Robe
   85 Freckled Duck in the middle of the lake.

   Lewin's Rail, Spotless Crake, Little Eagle Black Swamp, Currency Creek
   Winery
   First time at this location was very profitable with 39+ species. 3
   Lewin's Rails were closely heard and responded strongly to playback of
   calls on the north-side of the swamp track. Additional notable birds
   were Shining Bronze Cuckoo (heard repeatedly) and Varied Sittella.

   Wed 10 Sep Ostrich, Black-breasted Buzzard, Grey Falcon Birdsville
   Track--Marree to Mungerannie
   1 Ostrich at Dulkanninna creek. Has been hanging around for a fe months
   now. According to locals, escaped as a young bird from Clayton Station.
   1 Black-breasted Buzzard imm. 2 Grey Falcons on a radio tower.

   Tue 9 Sep Cinnamon Quail-thrush, Banded Whiteface, Eyrean Grasswren,
   Gibberbird Cowarie Station

   Mon 8 Sep Grey Grasswren, Yellow Chat Birdsville Track--Goyder Lagoon
   vicinity
   a pair of Grey Grasswrens with recently fledged young. And 6-8 Yellow
   Chats including immatures.

   Mon 1 Sep Pied Honeyeater, Crimson Chat Gluepot Reserve
   Both species have arrived at Gluepot after a few years absence. They
   are feeding on mass flowering Eremophilas. Other good sightings include
   3 spp of Cuckoo (Horsfield's Bronze, Black-eared & Pallid), as well as
   Red-lored Whistler and Black-eared Miner.
