If possible, I was hoping to find both Rock Parrot and Elegant Parrots in
the same general area between Melbourne and Adelaide. Ideally I would
travel out from the Grampians and only go as far as needed. What I am
hoping is to find both species within reasonable driving distance of each
other. For example good reliable consistent numbers for both species
indicating that they are local birds rather than birds just whipping
through an area and sighted infrequently in the same general area. Of
course having filmed both species before I am fully aware that Rock Parrot
is a coastal species and Elegants more dry upland. I will be attempting
this coming this Sept.

As always the knowledge on this forum has saved me a bundle in time and
energy and I very thankful for so many that drop me a note and offer help
and guidance!

Cheers!

Don
