Birdline South Australia

Published sightings for the week ending 22 Jun 2014.

Mon 9 Jun Major Mitchell Cockatoo 35km east of Nullabor
Seen by the highway around 4pm, landing on small bushes. Tried to take a photo but they took off each time I approached.

Sun 8 Jun Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo Princes Highway Tantanoola, near MIllicent MIll (Kimberly Clark)
Several large and noisy flocks of up to 200 birds flying low - perhaps searching for food(?) - much of the area is under pine plantation.
