Hi Donald

I stayed at Chambers Lodge last year. No luck with platypus but I did see
sugar gliders come to the trees at night in response to honey-water splashed
onto the trunks. I had to wait about 90 minutes, and by that time was the only
one still watching, but there were three gliders there for quite some time, and
unafraid as I took photos. Apparently striped possums also come to these feed
trees.

There are walking tracks through the forest, and a small library of nature
books. No restaurants or food stores close, but the units have their own
kitchens, fully equipped for making your own meals. The staff were friendly and
helpful.

Cheers

Ronda
