Birdline Australian Capital Territory

Published sightings for the week ending 18 May 2014.

Mon 12 May Lewin's Honeyeater Australian National Botanic Gardens
Following up Nicki Taws report on the COG list - eventually located a single Lewin's in a eucalypt near the Joseph Banks Building, just north of the row of buildings that includes the cafe. It called just once - the only reason I found it. It was foraging actively, plenty of birds in the same general area including White-eared, New Holland and Yellow-faced Honeyeaters, Spinebills and Spotted Pardalotes. Also saw 2 male Rose Robins. This was at roughly 1415 hrs.
