I will be in Melbourne for the BirdLife Australia branches meeting
and the AGM next weekend. I am staying Saturday night to do some
birding around Melbourne.
I am not looking for any bird in particular. I am hoping to see a
variety of species I don't see very often. Species I would not see
in Perth, or Brisbane (where I will be visiting in late June). I was
thinking about the Dandenong Ranges or somewhere. Note that there is
an excursion to Werribee on the Saturday afternoon, so I won't need
to see any waterbirds.
Is someone available to help me?
If not, then can someone suggest the better places to visit. I will
have my SatNav with me, in case I need to hire a car for the
Sunday. I will be staying at the Ibis Hotel in the city (Therry Street).
Thanks
