I would normally consider myself as pretty good ID-ing bird calls, but I've got 
to admit that I've found myself stumped twice n one day!!! I failed to 
recognise a call that Lloyd Nielson gave me this morning as well!!!
 
but u may  well be right on this one - i'd say it's either a Broad-billed 
Flycatcher or a Shining Flycatcher - not sure if this helps but I don't think 
it's a Leaden - they're garden birds around my place &  I've never heard them 
make that sound before...
