hi Tun,

i'd be happy to help u see some of your target birds when u are up here, just
give me a call some time before u arrive & I can happily talk to u about it...
the paradise-kingfishers have surely left by now, however the Sarus Cranes
should have arrived on the tablelands; even this late it's still worth going to
Michaelmas Cay for a day trip on Seastar (don't go with any other boat, these
guys are terrific!!); Bustards are easier to see now after the wet season up
around Mareeba area; Beach Stone-curlews are resident & I have a pair that
never disappoints, while Great-billed Herons & Cassowaries being resident are
around in the right places if u look hard enough...
give me a call 0428 782 808...

cheers,
martin cachard,
cairns
