I'm moving from Sydney to the Gold Coast next week and don't know the area
well. Over Easter we'll be having visitors from New Zealand who have a 9 year
old who is really interested in natural history. I'm keen to take him somewhere
nearby which has a good chance of seeing some of the more visually appealing
species e.g Fruit doves, Bowerbirds etc. He's particularly fascinated in
owls/frogmouths, though the only ones he's seen are pictures I've shown him.

Any ideas would welcome thanks.
