Sandpiper identification

Hi Steve, 
yes u are correct in that all these birds are indeed sandpipers... 
sp 1 - is a juvenile Sharp-tailed SP - note the warm rosy-buff wadsh over 
breast & dark bright chestnut cap...
sp 2 - these are Sharp-tailed SP's again but look like older birds with less 
warm tones washed over breast & cap.
