Some interesting debate, much of it reasonable and reasoned which is good to see. We need to call out those who would vilify those with whom they disagree or we risk supporting the descent into a course and degrading public discourse where evil will surely profit.

One of the links offered is to http://www.themonthly.com.au/issue/2007/may/1348543148/richard-flanagan/out-control which, being written in 2007 is dated but not out of date or relevance. The outline of corruption in Tasmania is a horrific read even to those who knew something of it.
