Hi B-a 50+ White-throated Needletails over Crusoe reservoir, Kangaroo Flat near Bendigo, last night at around 8.15pm. At first they didn't appear to be feeding, just swirling around having fun, some interacting/playing with each other. Later they flew over water and appeared to start feeding - some diving low to water level. Great sighting! Earlier that day saw my first Chestnut-rumped Heathwren too! Crusoe reservoir is very well set up - great accessibility (seats every 100m!). No dogs, no powered vehicles or boats, so very quiet and nature-friendly. Recommended!
