Just back from Cape York where Fork-tailed Swifts were abundant most days. 
Numbers varied at any time from a couple of dozen to a hundred. On several days 
just before rain they were down low and it was wonderful to see the white rump 
from the side. 
Buff-breasted Paradise Kingfishers seen regularly, Red-bellied Pitta
