First Bird for me was a Common Mynah. Brookvale isn't known for it's birding.

Mine was a Buff-breasted Paradise-kingfisher and Keith's a Spectacled 
Monarch, but he had heard 18 species while lying in bed listening to the 
dawn chorus (I was sleeping!)
