Published sightings for the week ending 22 Sep 2013.

Wed 18 Sep Black-tailed Godwit Mungalla Station (Forrest Beach, Queensland)
Black-tailed Godwit (Limosa limosa) standing at edge of lower lagoon, Mungalla Station this morning. Strong white wing bars clear in flight, but missed flight pic. Also 2 Pacific Golden Plover and 4 Curlew Sandpiper

Mon 16 Sep Square-tailed Kite Tyto Wetlands, Ingham
Square-tailed Kite wafting effortlessly low over trees, south-eastern section this morning, challenged by Magpie Lark and Masked Lapwing; soared off in own good time. First for this site (pair sighted lately 30km south, near Jourama Falls).

Fri 13 Sep Double-eyed Fig-Parrot Gordonvale
Bird sited near river by the camping ground, she was very busy chewing a nesting hollow into a dead Melaleuca limb.
