Hi Rob
We had two adults roost in our front yard for some 3 or 4 years (gone now) and
often they will call during the heat of the day.

On Sunday afternoon I went for a walk at Isaacs Ridge and was coming back
through the pine forest at sunset when I heard a Tawny Frogmouth calling. It
called a couple of times, but stopped when I tried to find it. It's the first
time I've ever heard a Frogmouth call when it wasn't fully dark (it was only
just after the sun had set). Are Frogmouths common around the ACT?
