Presumably if seen flying over with a rat/mouse in its talons, then yes you
would expect to conclude it must be feeding!

I believe we have a white morph Goshawk flying over our property in Torquay.
I have heard it constantly and twice seen it flying over with a rat/mouse in
its talons within a fifteen minute interval.  It must be feeding?
