Any birders available to show us your birds?

My husband and I will be arriving in Brisbane next Monday, 2 Sept.  We will 
travel by small campervan up to Daintree and return to Brisbane by Nov. 1.  We 
would like to meet some resident birders and bird with you if you are 
available.  We had tried to contact some birdingpals but found that it is now a 
business charging fees to make connections.  Are there any clubs or groups that 
have outings planned in the next 2 months?  

We will try to get internet whenever we can as we will not have a phone 
probably.  Any help would be appreciated.
