Eastern Barn Owl
Homestead park, Thornlie
Seen at 8pm whilst spotlighting in our local park on a low bough at 10 meters, perfect! Seemed quite comfortable with our presence. Had heard a few classic screeches earlier when walking the dogs, so decided to return with the spotlight. Also Boobook heard but not seen.
