Rainbow and Scaly-breasted Lorikeets are regular visitors to the back yard of the Bulahdelah Bakery, where they feed on discarded bakery products.

I have just seen a group of 8 Rainbow Lorikeets on the ground, in the lane-way behind our house. They were heartily demolishing 2 mini-pizzas, which had fallen out of the waste skip of the bakers that back onto the lane. Either there mustn't be much blossom or fruit around the area, or their tastes are widening.
