There is a flock of a few hundred around my place in Balwyn (10 km E
of Melbourne) at present. They are feasting on the acorns from our
street trees - pin oaks. Been hanging around a couple of weeks. Hell
of a noise in the mornings.

We had some last year, but more bountiful (?) this year.
