For some reason the URL I posted didn't come through entirely, and doesn't
work. Here it is again:

This Orion 'wine and cheese' cruise looks like it cuts through some good
waters, beginning in Brisbane on 13 December, arriving at Norfolk Island two
or three days later, then onwards to Auckland. Most of the run between
Brisbane and Norfolk is within Australian EEZ waters, then of course there
are 300 km of Aussie waters heading towards NZ. Apparently a boat relocation
run, it is currently discount priced. Still, at $3,200 the wine and cheese
must be pretty exceptional. Any ideas or considerations that I may not have
thought of regarding birding potential presented by this cruise would be
appreciated, and anyone who is so certain of treasure-troves of Pacific
rarities that they have booked or intend to book, please let me know via
 .
