Sun 17 Mar Cattle Egret Fyshwick Sewage Treatment Plant
While at Kellys Swamp, I observed a single Cattle Egret flying over FSP.

Sat 16 Mar Whistling Kite, White-faced Heron Kellys Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Fyshwick
One Whistling Kite observed circling over dried out shoveller pond. Also 23 White-faced Heron observed in total, including a single flock of 16, flushed by two very low flying navy AS350B squirrel helicopters.

Thu 14 Mar Freckled Duck West Belconnen ponds
On Thursday evening there were three Freckled Ducks on the small islands at West Belconnen ponds.

Swift Parrot Wanniassa
At least two swift parrots (and probably about six) moving through Wanniassa, flying from tree to tree heading towards Wanniassa Hills. First time I've seen them in this suburb.

Mon 11 Mar Chestnut-rumped Heathwren, Hooded Robin Mount Tennent, Namadgi National Park
Looking for Heathwren reported by Brendan Sheean. Chestnut-rumped Heathwren (1) About half way down the hill from the lookout. Brief but good views of a single bird, tail cocked, on the ground after following up a call. Hooded Robin (3) 1 male, 2 females being harassed by White-eared Honeyeater & Rufous Whistler.

Sun 10 Mar Black-fronted Dotterel Kellys Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Fyshwick
21 Black-fronted Dotterel observed in the Jerrabomberra Wetlands complex, including a single flock of 19 on the dried out Kelly Swamp

Pallid Cuckoo (1) Juv. Only the second Pallid Cuckoo I have seen (or heard in 2013)
