Thanks very much Jeff for identifying my bird. Peter, I had a tiny hope it 
would be something unusual too, but I was pretty sure somebody would have seen 
it and posted if it was!

Jeff Byron sent me a photo of same, tho' taken at a greater distance. I was
myself flummoxed and was going to send it on to Jeff Davies...!!! So glad
that you got those shots Jenny, and thanks for helping out, Jeff D - phew
( I was toying with an exotic vagrant, totally improbable :-)
