Anyone looking for an outstanding app to record sightings in the field can 
download Birdlog ANZ for only 99 cents (reduced from $10.49) from the iTunes 
store (link below) . I have used similar apps in the past including Birdsight 
Au, for about 2 years, but Birdlog is a quantum leap in front of the 
competition. I have been using Birdlog for the past 3 months and it has 
revolutionised the way I record my sightings.

Again I have no ties with the company, that developed the app, simply a 
satisfied user.
