Hi All,
the complexities of genetic studies, phylogeny, vocalisation, and so on!!

I'm not at all phased by the thought the Tasmanian Taxon might be separate to
the mainland Boobook - though if some DO cross the Straight, that makes things
interesting!

But for the life of me, I cannot envisage a speciation mechanism that would
allow for the Tasmanian Taxon to be separated from the mainland Boobook, but
still to be part of the same species as the NZ and Norfolk Island Morpork???

Cheers,
John Tongue
