For anyone who is interested, the Birdlife International checklist is going to
split Coxen’s Fig Parrot from Double-eyed – see
http://www.birdlife.org/globally-threatened-bird-forums/2012/11/double-eyed-fig-parrot-cyclopsitta-diophthalma-is-being-split-list-c-coxeni-as-endangered/

While it says this is being done after application of the criteria from Tobias,
J. A., Seddon, N., Spottiswoode, C. N., Pilgrim, J. D., Fishpool, L. D. C. and
Collar, N. J. (2010) Quantitative criteria for species delimitation. Ibis 152:
724–746, at this stage there’s no statement as to how they assessed the parrots
against the critera.

The Birdlife checklist is different to the IOC Checklist. And shouldn’t be
confused with the Cornell/Clements checklist. Nor for that matter with the
Howard and Moore checklist, the fourth edition of which is coming out next
year...
