The raptor looks like a dark Brown Goshawk with the yellow eyes and eye-brow ridge. It appears to have some grey on the back and wings so may be moulting from immature to adult plumage.

G'day all,

Just a couple of ID help requests that have come up today. One from Bob
Carter out at Nyirripi with a large, dark, raptor;

...and the second, another bite at the cherry with the difficult
*Gallinago*snipes of Alice Springs;

Any and all help is very much appreciated.

Cheers, and enjoy your Cup Day for those of you down south.
