The highlights of a trip this week to Burrum Heads and Bundaberg in southern
Queensland were multiple sightings of Shining Flycatcher in mangroves at
Burrum Heads, and a Square-tailed Kite on the nest near Bundaberg seen with
Trevor and Annie Quested and Eric Zillmann. The kites have been nesting in
the same spot for an extroardinary 27 years in succession.
