Hi folks - new member and I hail from mid-north coast of NSW - Crescent Head
- my wife and I often see Pelicans flying in leisurely circles, sometimes up
to a couple of 1000 ft high, other times lower, for no apparent reason (i.e.
they don't then fly off in a loose V in search of food or other waters) -
anyone know what they are doing? I have done some research and looked
through my books but no luck. Are they just having a cruise, drying/cleaning
feathers, spotting for food sources or what? Many thanks.

All the best

Sean
