Sun 9 Sep Little Black Cormorant Rocky Cape National Park
Single bird sitting on leaf litter near wet ditch beside road. Flys off straight and level in front of car for 100m before perching in tree.

Dusky Moorhen Flowerdale (behind Wynyard)
Single bird on farm dam. This species seldom seen in more westerly NW Tas despite regular Atlassing on assorted dams. However, resident and breeding in Ulverstone hinterland.

Wed 29 Aug Swift Parrot Sisters Beach
12-14 birds yahooing in young ecalypts and again on 6 Sep.
