I understand we all believe the bristlebird and scrub-bird are "easiest seen"
(mostly heard for the latter) at Cheynes Beach, although I have personally had
my best views of bristlebird at Two Peoples Bay around the ranger's
headquarters.
As for the Western Whipbird, however, I believe the most reliable place for
Western Whipbird is Fitzgerald NP, not knowing too much about Waychinicup NP.
There are spots within Fitzgerald NP where they can be recorded reliably given
enough time put into finding them. I'm sure there will be others out there who
think otherwise and may have better spots.
Michael and Jeremy, if you would like more detailed notes on whipbird sites
please let me know and I will be happy to help?
Regards,Michael
