Hi Birders,
This has been mentioned before but its worth bringing up again because we all
should be informed and involved...
The Global Birding Initiative have a fantastic outreach campaign called "Pledge
2 Fledge". Its all about experienced birders (such as yourself dear reader)
volunteering some time to take a beginner (or beginners plural) out birding.
Simple. The aim is to spread the birding bug wider and wider.
This will be an annual event and hopefully it takes off in Australia- for the
sake of our birds I want birding to grow and grow!

Be great to see some reports posted here on birding aus afterwards to share
stories of how it all goes.
