3 birds calling inside airport fence; also heard here last week, these birds are threatened by runway extension plans

Scarlet Robin, Speckled Warbler, Buff-rumped Thornbill, Australasian Shoveler and Yellow-billed Spoo Lockyer Valley
Great day spent in Lockyer Valley. Scarlet Robin, Speckled Warbler, Weebill, Buff-rumped Thornbill's plus Striped Honeyeaters, Rose Robins and a single Weebill were the highlights of a visit to Gatton National Park (closed every Saturday am due to proximity of rifle range). Caspian and Whiskered Tern at Lake Atkinson. Australasian Shoveler, Yellow-billed Spoonbill, a single Glossy Ibis and hundreds of ducks at Seven Mile Lagoon. 3 Black Kites at Lake Clarendon. 98 species seen
