Dear All,

Has anyone had any experience with the SPOT GPS Messenger as an alternative to 
a PLB. The text messaging feature looks useful. Imagine being able to order a 
case of Grange from on the Birdsville Track.

For those that are unfamiliar, the SPOT GPS Messenger can be seen at
