Tue 1 May Pallid Cuckoo Canni Creek Racecourse, Buchan South
Pallid Cuckoo (1) A very late observation according to our records. Heard calling from adjacent eucalypt woodland on the eastern edge of the golf course. Moderators note: This could also be a very early record ? I have recorded Pallid Cuckoos in early and mid winter in northern Vic, which seemed to have arrived from somewhere, with a whiff of spring about them !
