Birdline Northern Territory

Published sightings for the week ending 22 Apr 2012.

Sun 22 Apr Grey Falcon Track Junction at Ilparpa Claypans
Grey Falcon (1) Single adult bird flew directly overhead, quite low, and on a direct course from the south in the direction of the back of Mt Gillen. Had very clear views, and watched the bird disappear over the treeline to the north.

Mon 16 Apr Freckled Duck Alice Springs Waste Stabilisation Ponds
8 birds in total, 5 males and three females. All in a tight flotilla in EP2 with Eurasian Coots. They were there when I arrived at about 8.30 am and were still there when I left at 11.30
