Many thanks to everyone who wrote to me privately after my somewhat intemperate outburst about apathy. I am more than satisfied many birdwatchers want duck shooting to end, and I hope we see it happen in our lifetime. There were few ducks at Lake Buloke and Reedy Lake (near Geelong) last weekend and therefore few hunters. Rescuers found dead birds - both game and protected species - and these will be displayed publicly on Thursday. =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
