Hi all,
On a bushwalk through Girrahween NP (i.e. Wolli Creek/Earlwood in inner
metropolitan Sydney) we saw a brown goshawk (apparently along with collared
sparrowhawk) resident in the valley, and a pale-headed rosella (!) - My
suspicion is that it might be an escapee. It was by itself and feeding in
low understory about 2 m off the ground. We did see some eastern rosellas
earlier about 100 m away overhead.
