Hey all,

for those interested in the recent sightings of Little Button-Quail in Sydney’s
Centennial Park; I visited the site where they have been recorded this morning
and during a 2 hour period of traipsing through the area I found NO Little BQ.
I did, however, flush about 6 Brown Quail, some of which I got very good views
of running around. I left when it began to rain heavily.

There is a lot of native grass in the area and I don’t doubt the observer’s ID
so by all means it is definitely worth going and checking out.

Cheers,

Max Breckenridge
